Always wanted to fly?

EAA Flying Start is a free, no-pressure introduction to becoming a pilot for adults. Chapter pilots answer your questions, walk you through the path and, when you are ready, take you up.

What to expect

An event at the airportA short talk about how people learn to fly, what it costs and how long it takes, then time to look over aircraft with the people who fly them.
A flight when you are readyParticipants are offered an introductory flight with a chapter pilot, at no cost to you.
A mentor afterwardsA chapter member stays in touch to help with the next steps: finding an instructor, a medical, ground school.
